Emergency situations demand the response an Enhanced 9-1-1 system provides. Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s Dec. 1 “Metropolitan Area 9-1-1 Day” proclamation recognizes 25 years of Enhanced 9-1-1 services in the Twin Cities area. Residents will have the opportunity to thank their first responders and other 9-1-1 personnel when they march in Macy’s Holidazzle Parade on Saturday, Dec. 1.
