After the announcement of an amnesty on crimes committed during Chad’s civil war, country-boy Atim (Ali Bacha Barkaï) comes to the capital to avenge the murder of his father. But he must weigh the possibility of forgiving the killer, who has tried to atone for his past.
Sam Sam, will bring the film, Family Motel, a Promotion of Tolerance Through Film Award winner. She plays a headstrong mother struggling to provide for her divided family in a fresh, authentic tale of falling through the cracks in a land of plenty. The film is a stirring portrait of dignity under fire.
