Almost 200 employees celebrated 25 years or more of service to Saint Paul during ceremonies Tuesday morning marking Public Employee Recognition Week. Four of the employees – William Hansen and Roger Rygwalski in the Parks and Recreation Department; Marcella Schillinger in the Department of Safety and Inspections; and Mary Sonnen in Public Health – received recognition for 40 years of service.

Mayor Chris Coleman applauded the employees, citing their dedication to the City and its residents as the reason government works for the people.
