Hennepin County has announced that a record number of schools and worksites have won 2008 Wellness by Design Awards. Thirty-nine worksites and 10 schools will be honored at a June 12 award ceremony at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Dr. in Brooklyn Center. Gail Dorfman, Hennepin County Commissioner from the Third District, will be among those honoring organizations in the county that have met specific criteria in promoting safe and healthy lifestyles.
