SA BANK FRAUDSTER TAKES COVER IN CALIFORNIA

(GIN) – Efforts to extradite the alleged criminal mastermind of a multi-million dollar fraud at the South African Fidentia Asset Management were dealt a setback last week by the District Court of California.

In a ruling by Judge Oswald Parada, South Africa's Constitutional Court must first determine whether the extradition treaty between the United States and South Africa has legal standing before the suspect, Steven Goodwin, can be returned for prosecution.
