Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Nigeria’s foreign currency reserves fell by 1 percent in January, the central bank said. Foreign reserves in Africa’s top oil producer dropped to $42.05 billion as of Jan. 29, from $42.4 billion on Dec. 31, the Central Bank of Nigeria , based in the capital, Abuja, said on its Web site today.
